Key Results
- Developed a scalable learning management system that our client had total ownership of, removing their need for a third party application
- Our platform gave the client the ability to host classes online which their old LMS was not able to do
- Developed and launched in time to accompany their current years curriculum
The Problem
An institute for continuing education came to us for help giving them an alternative to Moodle, a learning management platform that they had outgrown.
- They needed an application that they had more control over, requiring the ability to grade tests, share files, manage schedules and generate digital reports all in one place
- They needed an application that could scale with their institution and the increasing student body
The Process
Our application development experts began the project by sitting down with our client to understand in detail all of their unique needs and areas where their previous LMS was failing them.
- We took note of areas our client pointed out that needed improvement from a quality-of-life standpoint and made sure we had solutions for those issues built into their new platform
- We had meetings with the client throughout the development process to get their thoughts on the direction we were going with their application, allowing them to shape the creation of a tool that would work best for their needs
The Solution
After several months of effort, we delivered an application to our client that completely removed their need to rely on a third party LMS.
- We created a whole new student portal for the client which gave students and teachers a wide range of new options for digital learning
- The platform also gave the institute the ability to host classes online, opening up opportunities to teach students in a variety of new and more accessible ways
- The project has been approved by the client and is scheduled to launch along with their new curriculum in 2026
